PCOL Latest Updates
The functionality enhancements delivered by PCOL2 will be deployed and available on the live site from Monday 18 March 2009.
PCOL2 will deliver the following changes for claimants:
- Monetary judgement now optional relief
The schema and input screens on the front end of the webservice have been amended to make seeking a monetary judgement optional relief. Until now this was mandatory and could only be amended by the judge at the hearing of the claim.
- Insert 3rd party details into claim.
This change extends the use of PCOL to those wishing to issue claims for possession of 'buy to let' properties. The change allows claimants to add details of occupiers of the premises in addition to or other than the defendant(s).
- Claims regulated by Consumer Credit Act 1974
Claimants are now able to denote whether a loan secured by the mortgage is a regulated consumer credit agreement or not.
- Assignment of mortgage
The final change in this release enables claimants to issue claims where the claimant has acquired the mortgage from another lender but is not the original mortgage provide
