Viewing the progress of a claim

MCOL is a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week service. This means that claimants and defendants can check the status of the claim online.

You should note that if the claimant has applied for judgment today, it may not appear on the status screen until tomorrow.

If you successfully submit your online response before 4pm on a day when the court is open, it will be received and processed that day and it takes priority over a pending judgment request received that day.

If you successfully submit your online response after 4pm on a day when the court is open or when it is not open (e.g. weekends and Bank Holidays), it will be treated as being received and processed the following working day.
