Work Experience
The Royal Courts of Justice are only able to offer work experience to students who are aged between 14 and 16. We can offer a limited number of placements at a given time, so please contact the court well in advance of the date of the placement. The placements offered are of an administrative nature and would provide very little legal experience.
If you are interested in a placement please write to the address below including the name and address of your school, contact details for the school's work experience coordinator and the dates you wish to attend:

Those seeking legal work experience should contact the Bar Council who can put you in touch with Barristers Chambers who may be able to assist you:
Please visit www.pupillages.com as this contains information of chambers who offer pupillage/mini-pupillage.
If you are interested in marshalling you should contact your local Crown Court and ask if any Circuit Judges are taking on a marshal or, if you are affiliated to one of the Inns of Court, you should approach a judge through them. Applicants should usually have completed either the Legal Practice Course or the Bar Vocational Course before they apply for marshalling.
