Listing for Patents County Court
With effect from the 1st October 2006 the Clerk of the Lists Office assumed full responsibility for the listing of all cases in the Patents County Court.
All enquiries regarding listing should be made to this office and not to the Clerk to HHJ Fysh QC.

Originating Process
Central London County Court will undertake the issue of all originating process. All proceedings when issued are passed to the clerk to HHJ Fysh at the Patents County Court, Field House, 15-25 Breams Buildings, London EC4A 1DZ.
Interlocutory Process
The issue of all interlocutory process will be dealt with as by the clerk to HHJ Fysh QC at Field House either by post or personal attendance.
The fee will continue to be paid to the Fees Office Room E01 in the Royal Courts of Justice.
Arrangements for listing
Interlocutory Applications.
By personal attendance
The fee should be paid first in the Fees Office and then taken for issue to the clerk to HHJ Fysh QC. The clerk, in the presence of the applicant or his representative whilst the parties are there will contact the Clerk of the Lists Office who will supply the date. The application will then be issued and returned.
By postal application
Applications should be sent to the Fees Office, Room E01, Royal Courts of Justice, Strand, London WC2A 2LL marked “Patents County Court”. The fee will be recorded and the document stamped. The Fees Office will forward the papers to the clerk to HHJ Fysh QC at Field House. The clerk will obtain the hearing date and then issue and return the application.
Trials
An appointment to fix a trial date should first be obtained from the Clerk of the Lists Office and notice of such appointment given to all interested parties.
On the appointment to fix before the listing officer the parties can attend or be represented.
Any of the parties who do not wish to attend can submit their available dates in writing prior to the appointment to fix.
A trial date will be arranged and notification sent in writing to all interested parties by the Clerk of the Lists Office. The trial fee may be paid either at the Central London County Court or at the Royal Courts of Justice Fees Office clearly marked “Patents County Court”
Daily Cause List
Publication of the Daily Cause List will be dealt with by the Clerk of
the Lists Office.
