Welcome to the Royal Courts of Justice Wellbeing Centre web site. The Wellbeing Centre is an exclusive health & fitness club only for members of the Supreme Court Group, the Judiciary and selected legal professionals associated to the courts.
Due to the exclusive nature of the facility, membership places are limited. The following site contains information about the club and services available.
Gym design & Location
The Wellbeing Centre is a new facility with the highest quality equipment and services. It is located below the main hall of the RCJ (opposite court 23 and 24), taking up over 5000sqft, including the changing rooms with saunas, showers, and oak lockers.An industrial theme runs throughout the design of the club, bringing out the graded buildings history and magic. The facility has a large selection of the latest Precor cardiovascular equipment, together with a large selection of resistance machines and free weights for body toning. There are also dedicated areas for stretching and abdominal work.
The facility also has a dedicated area for gym based classes such as spinning; core strength fit ball and gym circuits.
Care & Attention
The Wellbeing Centre has a dedicated team of fitness professionals and trainers. Members to the club can expect to receive a very personal level of service. Our aim is to provide you with the necessary training, knowledge and motivation to help you achieve your health goals, whilst enjoying the journey.
Opening Times
The club is open from Monday – Friday, from 0700 – 2100. All external members will receive a personal membership card which they will use to access the building outside of the main hall times (1000 – 1600) by showing it to security at the West Green Gate.
Services
Each new member will receive a personal induction, a lifestyle assessment (to set your goals) and a personal programme to help you reach them.
In addition to these initial services, members can also choose from the following:
- Fitness Testing – in-depth analysis of your current physical condition.
- Nutritional/diet analysis – a review and guidance on your eating habits
- Food sensitivity testing
- Personal Training – in-house trainers to push you that little further.
- Spinning Classes – regular classes for all levels, a fun and rewarding class
- Towels – complimentary or hire
- Cholesterol testing
- Weight Management Programmes – get help to lose those extra pounds
- Exercises Classes
- Sports & Social events
- Newspaper service
Certain services will require an additional cost.

Membership Tariffs
There are a number of membership tariffs available to members of the Wellbeing Centre. Members can pay by direct debit, cheque, cash or credit cards. A number of flexible membership types are available for members who do not wish to pay for a year or require flexibility. Please select from the following categories.

A subsidised membership tariff which provides a full time/any time gym membership.

The following membership types are available for the Judiciary and associated legal professionals.
This provides an off-peak membership only. Silver members can make use of all the facilities between the following times 0900 – 1200 and 1400 -1700.
