Standards
The standards you can expect from the Admiralty and Commercial Courts
On attendance at our offices.
- To be treated at all times in a courteous and helpful manner by staff who are easily identifiable
- To wait no longer than 10 minutes before reaching our counter to conduct your business
- If you do have to wait longer than this, please ask to speak with the manager of that particular office. In their absence, please ask to speak with the Court Manager, Keith Houghton
- For the public areas to be clean and tidy
- A separate room or area to be found if you wish to discuss business privately
On contacting our offices in writing and by email.
- To be sent a full reply or holding response to a letter within 5 working days
- To be sent a full response in any event within 10 working days
- To be sent a full reply or holding response to an email within 3 working days
- To be sent a full response in any event within 7 working days
On contacting our offices by telephone
- For your call to be answered within 30 seconds
- To be told in a courteous manner the office you have reached and the name of the member of staff answering your call
