Lincoln Magistrates' Court Open Day Saturday 25 October 2008 10.00am – 4.00pm
You are invited to attend the Lincoln Magistrates' Court Open Day at the Court House, 358 High Street, Lincoln. The Open Day forms part of Inside Justice Week, and the magistrates and staff will be joined by staff from other Criminal Justice Agencies in order that you can gain a better understanding of how a magistrates' court operates.
There will be a number of events during the day, including:
- Mock courts
- Visits to the cells, including access to a prison van
- Demonstration of electronic tagging
- Photo-fit demonstrations
- Visits to the witness suite
- Mobile police station
- Prison historical books
There will also be displays by other Criminal Justice Agencies, including:
- Addaction
- Lincolnshire Probation
- Lincolnshire Criminal Justice Board
- Legal Services Commission

Northampton Combined Court Open Day
Saturday 18 October 2008 12.00 noon – 4.00pm
Meet the judges and staff at Northampton Combined Court who are holding an open day at 85-87 Lady's lane, Northampton.
Come along and join in the events taking place which include:
· Mock trials
· Fingerprinting
· Face painting
· Tours of the court building
· Visiting the cells
· 'Ask the panel'
· Children's quiz
We will be joined by other criminal justice agencies including:
· HMP Wellingborough
· Northamptonshire Probation Service
· Northamptonshire Voluntary Youth Action
· The Drug Alcohol Action Team
