Wales and Cheshire Region Practice Direction

The Disclosure of Information from Social Services' Files - Public Interest Immunity Practice Direction dated 18 April 1996 shall also apply to Disclosure of Information from the files of any national charitable body working in the field of child care, who claim public interest immunity. Any reference in that Practice Direction to "Social Service Files" shall be deemed to be a reference also to the files of such national charitable bodies and any reference in it to a "Social Services Department" shall be deemed to be a reference also to such national charitable bodies.
