Unified Family Service - Gwent
As part of a HMCS approved pilot scheme with effect form 9th February 2007 all Children Private, Public Law and Maintenance applications currently issued at Gwent FPC, Gwent House, Cwmbran will be administered from Newport (Gwent) County Court.
Hearings in respect of FPC cases will continue to be heard on a Wednesday and Friday at the current FPC venues
Wednesday: Pontypool FPC, County Court Building, Park Road, Riverside, Pontypool
Friday: Abertillery FPC, Magistrates' Court, Springbank, Abertillery
Therefore, with effect, from 9th February 2007 all applications together with the appropriate fees should be forwarded directly to:

Redevelopment of Merthyr Tyfdil Courts
The offices at Merthyr Tydfil County Court will be closed from 4pm on Tuesday 28 August 2007 to Friday 13 June 2008 to allow for substantial building works to be carried out.
Correspondence should continue to be addressed to Merthyr Tydfil County Court, The Law Courts, Glebeland Place, Merthyr Tydfil, CF47 8BH. DX number 99582 Merthyr Tydfil 2. All mail will be redirected.
Merthyr Tydfil County Court can be contacted by telephone on either 01443 490808 or 01685 358200. The Fax number 01685 359727 remains unchanged.
All hearings will take place at Pontypridd County Court, The Courthouse, Courthouse Street, Pontypridd, CF37 1JR
Counter queries will be dealt with at Pontypridd County Court by Merthyr Tydfil County Court staff.
The Court office at Merthyr Tydfil County Court will re-open at 10.00am on Monday 16 June 2008.
Redevelopment of Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court
The Offices at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court, Glebeland Place, Merthyr Tydfil , CF47 8BH will be closed from 6th August 2007 to 13th June 2008 to allow for substantial building works to be carried out.
All Crown Court work will be dealt with from Cardiff Crown Court from 6th August 2007 until 13th June 2008 at the following address;
